Since it was a holiday, I let my husband sleep while I put up the decorations and then woke him. He ran in in his pajamas to do a rush photo-session. All three of us have worked hard to get to this day, and we celebrated together.

My daughter and grandchild. We all went to a nearby park. In the height of Autumn, they were playing with the fallen leaves.

Stay strong so you can always carry them and will always be there for them.

I dedicate this photo to the figure in the background, someone I love, the real hero in the picture: my mother.

We took a family trip to Malaysia. Just after we arrived, my son, who was totally exhausted, fell and bit his lip. The people from the hotel helped us go to the hospital, but once there, the doctor asked my husband to hold down my son while he sewed up his lip. My son looks calm. It's my husband who looks like he's getting his lip sewn up.

We we're mountain climbing and paused at the top of a hill. We all felt like the refreshing breeze was a reward for our efforts.

They like Kindergarten with Papa best of all!! Actually, they're still just a little young for kindergarten now, but since they're getting a lot of practice at home now, they'll be fine."

This year's New Year everyone came home for the celebration: we drank to three generations.

Dad is usually busy at work and has no time for play. But on holidays, there's time for fun at the park. They all seem to love it.

The time we spend at the park is amongst the happiest. Since our little baby's started to walk, we don't see him crawl much anymore.

The last photo taken before our second child was born. My son was rubbing my belly while saying, "Careful, careful." Now that our daughter is with us, he pats her head and says, "Good girl, good girl."

We entered the marathon for parents and kids. Here, mother and daughter make a desperate, full on dash, and actually placed with the winners!!

It was a very chilly spring for flower viewing, but the girls were brimful of smiles and happiness. A three generation Oyako outing: Mother in law, Daughter in law, grandchild. Even on a cold spring day, their laughter brought warmth to the heart.

I (17) went with my mother and grandmother to the sea. We found the word LOVE written in the sand. We hardly ever get a chance to go out together, so I took a picture to remember. The trip was my mother's plan, something to make her own mother happy.
Sometimes my mother and grandmother argue. I wish they could always just be together, as simply as those letters LOVE in the sand. I love to see them when they smile together.

I went with my two-year old child to the coming of age ceremony. Just as we were going into the meeting grounds, my child started to cry, but everyone wished us well.

My wife and son heading for the opening ceremony at the kindergarten this April. With his uniform on, there's just a touch of the young man about him. And his face seems to be beaming with expectation. As he pulls his mother along with him towards some bright future, she laughs in bewilderment.

It was really a wonderful day. I'd like to give my daughter a print on the day she gets married.

My daughter was always timid but started trying new things since she turned three. This was the first time she'd been on a swing. My daughter got a little older that day, but as you can see, my husband went back to his childhood.
